Happy Sundays Music Festival Returns for Its Biggest Year

Southern California music and arts festival Happy Sundays is returning this weekend for its sixth and biggest year. The annual event, which takes place across various venues in Long Beach, will feature more than 60 artists across 11 stages Sunday (Aug. 28).

The combo of father and son, Adrian Montoya and Scott Montoya, are in the midst of establishing a new nonprofit, Studios for Schools. The Montoyas are fundraising to provide audio and video equipment for public high schools that have little means of obtaining these types of professional-and usually expensive-industry tools.
